What Started it All

Tuesday, November 5, 2013 I got a phone call from Senator Tim Johnson's office offering me an internship in Washington DC for next spring! I obviously accepted it immediately. After filling out numerous applications and going through long interviews my dream of being in DC finally came true.

I will be living in a townhouse converted into an apartment with two other interns a five minute walk from the Capitol. I am so excited to be in Washington DC seeing all the sights and learning so many new things.

My internship is January 10-May 31 but I leave on January 8. This blog will detail my experiences and adventures in DC.

I can't wait for my adventure to begin.
